About the event
May can be a busy and stressful time for teens, with end-of-year exams, projects, and big transitions. This relaxed, low-key event gives teens a chance to slow down, unwind, and explore simple mind-body practices that can help ease stress and support calm in everyday life.
Teens are invited to hang out with peers, enjoy pizza and snacks, and try a range of activities that support self-regulation and overall wellbeing. There is no pressure to share, and participation is always optional.
Participants will have the opportunity to apply learned strategies to real-life situations like test anxiety, friendship challenges, self-esteem, or feeling overwhelmed, leaving with practical tools to use anytime, anywhere.
This program is funded by a grant from the Braintree Local Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
