Grief isn't limited to the loss of a loved one; it can also stem from significant life changes or pivotal moments. Regardless of whether these changes are positive or negative, large or small, they have the potential to evoke a sense of loss, prompting the emotional experience and coping process associated with grief.

SADOD provides resources, information, and assistance to people throughout Massachusetts who have been affected by the death of someone they care about from a substance-use-related cause.
